1) Strength

Having a strong and powerful body throughout the entire kinetic chain can mitigate the risk of getting injured. It is also a sure way to improve performance.


The rewards of strength training don’t kick in after only 6 months. Moving the body under load is great to stimulate the nervous system as well as getting a lot of blood flow through our body.


The very act of starting the right strength training routine is an immediate positive and puts you on the path for a more resilient and athletic future.

2) Mobility

To get from A to B all our joints need to move from head to toe. The 21st century lifestyle, injuries, and other factors can restrict how we move. A baseline of mobility is key for a healthy and happy body. 


Positional strength exercises and breathing drills can help us hold on to mobility and posture gains much better than stretching. For us to hold on to meaningful mobility changes we need to connect specific positions with either loaded movement or parasympathetic breathing.


During the assessments we'll look closely at your unique mobility needs and will try immediate solutions!

3) Periodization

In sports this is known as "workload management". A strategic plan is key! This is perhaps the most overlooked detail when it comes to returning to playing a sport or staying on a routine for long periods of time.


You don’t want to overdo it and you also don’t want to do too little. Strength training and mobility are a great foundation to have and will allow us more room to operate in but we need to progress reasonably with everything we do to avoid running into problems.
